National Museum of Art of Catalunya (MNAC) Foto
Located on the on the Montjuïc hill, it hosts Catalan art (sculpture, painting, drawing, engraving, posters, photography and coinage) from the Romanesque period to mid-twentieth century. Most remarkable are the works from the Catalonian Romanesque and Gothic, a fine collection of mural paintings and wood-carvings, and an exposition of Spanish and European Baroque art.

Sculptures from 12th to 17th century.

Picasso Museum Photo
"Montcada, 15", open Tuesday to Saturday and Holidays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday closed.
Important collection of works of the great artist.

Museum of Modern Art
"Parque de la Ciutadella. Plaza de Armas", open daily except Tuesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Paintings and sculptures from 17th century until today. Specially remarkable are the works of Fortuny, Russiñol, Casas, Zuloaga, Sunyer, Solana, and the "Harlekin" of Picasso.

Fundacio Joan Miró Photo
"Montjuïc. Plaza de Neptú", open Tue, Wed, Fr 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thu 11 a.m. to 9.30 p.m., Holidays 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
Private collection of the famous artist, includes exhibitions of his works, a library, an auditorium and regular additional performances.

CaixaForum
Montjuïc. Av. Marques de Comillas 6-8
Located in a former textile factory designed by architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, with a new main entrance designed by Arata Isozaki. It has an important collection of Contemporary Art (Beuys, Anish Kapoor, Tony Cragg, Juan Uslé, etc) as well as visiting exhibitions (Dalí, Rodin, Freud, Turner, Fragonard, Hogarth, etc).

Museum of Ceramic
"Palacio de Pedralbes", open Tuesday to Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday closed.

Museum of Decorative Arts
"Av. Diagonal, 686", open Tuesday to Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday closed.
Outrageous collection of tapestry and other objects of art.

Poble Espanyol
Located at the Montjuich-mountain, the Poble Espanyol is an open air architecture museum, showcasing on a surface of 49.000 sqm.mtrs. 117 buildings in original size. This huge exposition documents the history and cultural diversity of Spain. Also, there are some 40 artists who demonstrate to the public how glass, ceramics and jewellery, among others, are produced. The Poble Espanyol can be visited daily.

Fundación Fran Daurel
In Poble Espanyol, Avda Marqués de Comillas 13. A private collection whith over 300 works of Spanisch artists, among them Dalí, Picasso, Barceló, Miró and Tàpies. In addition to this, there are frequently temporal expositions. There are also some 30 sculptures to be seen in the garden.

Museum of Holography
"Jaume I., Plaça de Sant Jaume", open Monday to Saturday 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 5.30 to 8.30 p.m., Sunday and Holidays closed.

Archaeological Museum
"Montjuïc. Paseo de Santa Madrona", open Monday to Saturday 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 3.30 to 7 p.m., Sunday and Holidays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Collection of objects from prehistorical times until 7th century, specially important are the expositions of Balearic culture and Roman mosaics.

Ethnological Museum
"Montjuïc. Paseo de Santa Madrona", open Mon, Thu 10 a.m. to 7 p.m, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Interesting objects from precolumbian America, Philippines, Asia and Africa.

Museum of the History of Barcelona
"Casa Clariana Padellàs. Plaça del Rei", open Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m, Sunday and Holidays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; July, August, September 10 a.m. to 8 p.m..
Barcelona's political history and its popular tradition are exhibited in three floors. In the cellar there are remains of Roman fortifications.

Gallery of Important Catalonians
"C. Bisbe Caçador, 3. Palacio Requensens", open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Collection of portraits of important personalities.

Gaudí Museum
"Parque Güell", open daily 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.
In this house lived the great architect from 1906 to 1925.

Verdaguer Museum
"Vallvidrera. Finca Vila Joana", open Tuesday to Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In this house lived the poet Verdaguer.

Museum of Science
"Teodoro Roviralta, 55", open daily except Monday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., visit of the Planetarium. 11.05, 12.00, 12.45, 1.30, 2.05, 4.05, 5.00, 5.45, 6.30 and 7.05.

Geological Museum
"Parque de la Citadella", open daily except Monday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Zoological Museum
"Parque de la Ciutadella", open daily except Monday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Botanical Gardens
"Parque de Montjuic. Av. Muntanyans".

Museum of the History of Medicine
"Pasaje Mercade, 11", open Monday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Maritime Museum
"Porta de la Pau", open daily 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Important collection about the history of navigation, including such famous documents like "El Libre del Consolat de Mar" and the oldest known codification of maritime laws. The museum is located in a medieval building.

Wax Figures Museum
"Pasaje de la Blanca, 7", open Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 4 to 7.30 p.m, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 4.30 to 8 p.m.
Wax figures of famous personalities.

Bullfight Museum
"Plaza de Toros Monumental",open daily 10.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. during the bullfighting epoch, days of a "corrida" 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dresses of famous toreros, historical documents and other objects from the world of bullfighting.

Museum of Music

Historical instruments, partitures, and other reminds to great musicians.

Perfume Museum

Museum of Textile and Industry

Pavilion Mies van der Rohe
Montjuïc. Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia 7". Open from 10.00 to 20.00h.
German Pavilion, designed for the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition. The Pavilion exhibits the Barcelona Chair, also designed by Mies van der Rohe, along with a bronze reproduction of Georg Kolbe’s sculpture Morning.
