ITINERARY: 23 days / 22 nights



1st. Day (Friday) MADRID - Arrival to the hotel by your own. Accommodation. Free time to explore the city.

2nd. Day (Saturday) MADRID-CACERES-SEVILLE (558 km.) - Breakfast. Departure by bus towards the región of Extremadura and arrival to Caceres. Time at leisure to know its Plaza Mayor and to walk through the old city and its famous medieval quarter, very well preserved and declared World Heritage place by the UNESCO. Lunch at your own. Continuation southwards to Andalucia and arrival to Sevilla. Dinner and accommodation.

3rd. Day (Sunday) SEVILLE - Half board in the hotel. Morning city tour visiting the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz with its narrow streets, the Park of María Luisa and Plaza de España, with a panoramic sightseeing of the city. Optional: Artistic tour including the Royal Alcazar Palace. Afternoon at leisure.

4th. Day (Monday) SEVILLE-CORDOBA (145 km.) - Breakfast. Departure to Cordoba. At arrival we enjoy a walking tour starting at the Almodovar Gate visiting the Jewish Quarter and the famous Mosque/Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation.



5th. Day (Tuesday) CORDOBA-RONDA-COSTA DEL SOL (322 km.) - Breakfast. Departure to the Route of the "White Villages" and Ronda. Free time. Continuation to Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation.

6th. Day (Wednesday) COSTA DEL SOL-GRANADA (180 km.) - Breakfast. Departure to Granada. Visit to the spectacular group of monuments of the Alhambra and Generalife, former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnificent fountains, gardens and arches. Dinner and accommodation. Optional visit to the caves of Sacromonte attending a typical gipsy flamenco show.



7th. Day (Thursday) GRANADA-VALENCIA (498 km.) - Breakfast. Departure via Guadix, Baza and Puerto Lumbreras towards the Mediterranean coast and Valencia. Accommodation. Free time to explore the city.

8th. Day (Friday) VALENCIA-BARCELONA (355 km.) - Breakfast. Free time. At mid morning departure to Barcelona. Arrival and accommodation. Free time to explore the city.

9th. Day (Saturday) BARCELONA - Breakfast and accommodation. Morning city sightseeing tour visiting the Park of Montjuic with spectacular views, Olympic Ring, monument to Columbus and the old Gothic Quarter. Afternoon at leisure. Optional night tour through the wide avenues and lighted buildings and fountains.



10th. Day (Sunday) BARCELONA-ZARAGOZA-SAN SEBASTIAN (575 km.) - Breakfast. Departure through Lerida and Zaragoza. Short stop and free time to visit the impresive "Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar". Continuation to San Sebastian. Dinner and accommodation.

11th. Day (Monday) SAN SEBASTIAN-BILBAO-SANTANDER (205 km.) - Breakfast. Departure to Bilbao, capital of the province of Vizcaya. Short stop to admire the Guggenheim Museum building. Continuation to Santander. Free time. Dinner and accommodation.

12th. Day (Tuesday) SANTANDER-SANTILLANA-COVADONGA-OVIEDO (235 km.) - Breakfast. Departure to Santillana del Mar, medieval village considered as a National Monument. Through splendid landscapes we arrive to Covadonga with time at leisure to visit the Shrine and continuation to Oviedo. Dinner and accommodation.



13th. Day (Wednesday) OVIEDO-LA CORUÑA (295 km.) - Breakfast. Departure to the region of Galicia. Arrival to La Coruña. Short panoramic tour. In the afternoon optional tour to the Rías Altas through typical villages as Pontedeume, Betanzos, etc. Dinner and accommodation.

14th. Day (Thursday) LA CORUÑA-SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (75 km.) - Breakfast. Departure to Santiago de Compostela. City tour through this legendary pilgrimage town; Plaza del Obradoiro, Cathedral, etc. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation.

15th. Day (Friday) SANTIAGO-RIAS BAJAS-VIGO (90 km.) - Breakfast and departure for the area of the Spanish Fjords (Rias Bajas), through splendid landscapes: La Toja Island, ría de Arosa and Pontevedra. 16th. Day (Saturday) VIGO-VIANA DO CASTELO-BRAGA-PORTO (220 km.) - Breakfast. Crossing the Portuguese border we arrive to Viana do Castelo, city located between the mouth of the river Miño and Porto. Free time to visit the old town with cobbled streets and emblazoned buildings. We continue to Braga known as the city of the archbishops and the third most populated city of Portugal. Free time. Departure to Porto. Accommodation.

17th. Day (Sunday) PORTO - Breakfast. Porto is considered as World Heritage city. Panoramic tour to admire the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, St. Clara church... we will finalize at a local winecellar to enjoy a tasting of the famous "Port wine". Accommodation.

18th. Day (Monday) PORTO-COIMBRA (120 km.) - Breakfast. Departure to Coimbra, site of one of the oldest universities in Europe and birthplace of the Fado, the music of Portugal. Time at leisure. Dinner and accommodation.



19th. Day (Tuesday) COIMBRA-FATIMA-LISBON (222 km.) - Breakfast. Departure to Fatima, important pilgrimage centre. Free time to visit the Shrine and afterwards continuation to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal located at the mouth of the river Tagus. Accommodation. Optional night tour to attend a show of Fado, typical Portuguese songs and music.

20th. Day (Wednesday) LISBON - Breakfast and accommodation. Morning city sightseeing tour: old Alfama Quarter, Tower of Belem, Monastery of Los Jeronimos, etc. Afternoon at leisure. Optional tour to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril.



21st. Day (Thursday) LISBON-CACERES-MADRID (613 km.) - Breakfast. Departure to the Spanidh border to arrive to Caceres. 22nd. Day (Friday) MADRID - Breakfast and accommodation. Today you may choose to have a panoramic city sightseeing tour, or half day excursion to Toledo. Rest of the day at your own leisure. You can extend your stay in Madrid with extra nights, or to continue your tour at your convenience.

23rd. Day (Saturday) MADRID end of the travel / or MADRID-CACERES-SEVILLA (558 km.) - Breakfast and departure / or Continue with the 2nd day of the itinerary.
