It is an ancient tradition that the pilgrims who often already had traveled hundreds or even thousands of kilometers in order to pay homage to the Apostle in Santiago, would then make a few kilometers more to reach the end of the world, "Finis Terrae". On the beach "Playa da Langosteira" they used to take a purifying bath, then would dress new clothes, burn the old ones, and witness the sunset. Now they could, spiritually cleaned, take the way back to Santiago de Compostela. Also today many pilgrims make the last stage to Finisterre to experience this spiritual cleaning.

On your way to Fisterra, during the foot marches, you will find a perfect service:

Luggage transfer: Your luggage (guideline: 1 suitcase/rucksack of max. 20 kg per person) will be transported from hotel to hotel, so you do not have to carry a heavy weight during the Way.

Travel insurance and 24h telephone emergency service, should you have any problem on your trip.

Travel documentation including your pilgrim passport, which after collecting the required stamps on your way, enable to receive the "Fisterrana" or "Muxiana"; the certificate you arrived at the "end of the World".

For a supplement you may also add the dinners. The menu usually consists of 2 dishes, bread, wine, water, and dessert. All selected hotels and restaurants offer good regional cooking.

This offer includes an overnight stay in Fisterra. If you wish, you can of course book additional nights.

The way leads from Santiago down to the sea, crossing magnificent landscapes and picturesque villages, and finally reaches the "Costa de la Morte" (Coast of Death), which was back then regarded the end of the world.
